As is normal during the Christmas season, life here at Gleaning For The World has been nothing short of crazy! From people running all over the place picking up loads of supplies, to scrambling to get things ready for the Second Annual Open House, we have been very busy!
Hopefully you heard about our Second Annual Open House. We have been promoting the event on Facebook and Twitter for the last week or so, and it was our chance to get to know our community. The event also provided on opportunity for our community to get to know us! We had delicious refreshments and displays about our work around the world.
We estimate that at least 30 people came out to our Concord, VA warehouse for the event. We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we are looking forward to hosting the third annual next December!
